Pure Street Photography Grant 2025

Pure Street Photography announced an exciting opportunity to support photographers in the world of street photography in October 2024.

PSP mission is to empower passionate photographers to continue their craft and gain the global stage they deserve. This opportunity serves as a gateway to artistic recognition, valuable connections, and a lasting legacy in street photography.

• Grand Winner Prize: The grand prize winner will be awarded US$500, Exhibition in Rome, Italy, Exclusive Interview on the PSP Website and International Press

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners - Exhibition in Rome, Italy in 2025, Exclusive Interview on the PSP Website and International Press

• Finalists: 26 outstanding photographers will be selected and will be exhibited in Italy in 2025 and International Press

This open call was judged and designed by the highly acclaimed, award-winning photographer Dimpy Bhalotia.

The "Pure Street Photography Grant 2025" reflects Dimpy’s deep commitment to supporting photographers in their journeys. Having navigated the challenges of street photography herself, Dimpy understands the unique demands of this craft, from covering everyday expenses to investing in essential equipment.

She knows the importance of having the right gear and comfortable shoes for countless hours spent on the streets. Her goal is to alleviate financial obstacles, allowing photographers to focus on their art and refine their skills.

Through this grant, Dimpy aims to give photographers the financial support they need to produce meaningful work, grow their craft, and build their portfolios.

Dimpy will personally review each submission, focusing on work that demonstrates promise, quality, and potential for growth. She is committed to selecting applicants who show not only exceptional talent but also a genuine desire to push creative boundaries.

About Dimpy Bhalotia

Dimpy Bhalotia is an internationally acclaimed photographer and creative director, based between London and Mumbai. She is celebrated for her instinctive street, portrait, and documentary photography.

Dimpy has won over 24 prestigious global awards, including the Grand Prize Award at the IPPAWARDS 2020 and the Female in Focus Award from the British Journal of Photography. Her iconic photograph “Flying Boys” has been described by L’Officiel as “the most famous photograph,” and celebrated by Apple CEO Tim Cook for its extraordinary impact.

Dimpy has served on the jury of over 15 international photography awards, including as President of the Photography Jury for the 103rd Annual ADC Awards by The One Club for Creativity.
